Question: Do you believe that everyone should eat all raw food?
Answer: We do not believe that there is a certain way of eating for any one person, and will not begin to
tell anyone what they should or should not eat. We say, If you are sick and trying to cure a disease, the more raw
food you eat, the better the immune system to fight off that illness. On the same note - if more raw food can make
you healthier, then perhaps more raw food can keep you healthy . . . ?
Question: Do you believe that people who eat cooked food will burn in hell at the same temperature
their food was cooked at?
Answer: We believe that cooked food is not as healthful as raw food, but we would not go so far as to say
that, no. By the way, here is an enlightening and reassuring book
you can read online about hell.
Question: Raw food is considered "live food", and cooked food is considered "dead food" by some. What
about frozen food?
Answer: Most commercially prepared frozen produce has been blanched in boiling water to destroy the enzymes
that digest the foods. The enzymatic digesting process causes the food to wilt and discolor. Commercially speaking,
this would limit the marketability and shelfability of the food, so it has to be blanched to increase shelf life.
So it is still virtually identical to 'cooked food', because it has been "cooked", (blanched). Food that is frozen
by the consumer still has a high degree of enzymatic activity as well as viable water soluble vitamins, if it has
not been blanched. It is preferable, however, to eat food in it's natural state with as little preservation as
possible.
